Co-hosted by Curtis Hays and Tom Nixon, Bullhorns and Bullseyes was launched in 2023 as a medium to tell rich stories and share detailed best practices. The show explores a broad range of marketing and advertising strategies — both “bullhorns” and “bullseyes.”
From the art of broadcasting compelling stories and thought leadership in order to grow an audience (bullhorns) to the science of micro-targeting and retargeting highly specific individuals and buyer personas through advanced digital marketing (bullseyes), Curtis and Tom, along with their guests, explore the present and future with a curious eye and honest analysis. The hosts welcome entrepreneurs, subject matter experts, and colleagues to share best practices, relay success stories, and examine the cutting edge of brand building and digital lead generation.

Tom is a passionate and prolific content creator, in both his personal life and through his professional pursuits. With a career that began in public relations, evolved into integrated marketing, and today is focused on content marketing, Tom enjoys leveraging the power of the "bullhorn" to meet mass audiences where they live, work and play, at scale 24/7. By day, he helps clients amplify their message and broadcast their expertise to the world, converting subject matter authority into compelling thought-leadership content: blogs, white papers, podcasts, videos, marketing messaging and brand storytelling. After hours, he’ll apply his passion for creating by exploring pet projects that include everything from novels to nonfiction, from composing music to acting in musicals, and from screenwriting to amateur movie making. Curtis Hays is a digital strategist and entrepreneur who has spent years helping businesses grow and thrive in the digital age. With a deep understanding of both business and technology, Curtis founded Collideascope, a boutique digital marketing agency, to help companies expand their online presence and reach new audiences. Specializing in WordPress website design and development, SEM, SEO, and digital marketing, Curtis combines his expertise in targeted "bullseye" digital tactics with a genuine curiosity about the evolving marketing landscape. He brings a more analytical and data-driven perspective, focusing on the science of micro-targeting and retargeting highly specific individuals and buyer personas through advanced digital marketing. Outside of work, Curtis enjoys bass fishing, gardening, and spending quality time with his wife and two daughters.
